Information we may collect

It would be easy to say “we don’t collect any information,” but even when a website simply displays text in a browser, technical interaction occurs. The data we may capture is primarily “abstract numbers and symbols that cannot be used to identify individuals,” such as the following:
- Technical metadata: Are you using an iPhone, an Android, or an old Windows PC? Are you using Chrome or Safari? Without knowing these details, the screen will become distorted and difficult to read.
- Language and region settings: These are basic settings used to determine whether the page should be displayed in Japanese or another language.
- Access statistics (aggregate data): These are aggregate numbers, such as “100 people viewed this page for 3 minutes,” rather than what each individual “you” viewed.
- Error logs and anti-spam: These are technical records used to determine the cause of site crashes and to prevent unauthorized access by robots.
These are merely possibilities, and may change slightly as the technical stack (the underlying mechanisms) is updated, but the basics remain within these bounds.
Information We Don’t Collect
This is the most important part. We don’t collect any information directly related to you, such as the following. If you’re asked to enter this information anywhere, it’s likely a fake site, so please run away immediately.
- Name, address, phone number: We don’t need to know who you are or where you live.
- Payment information: Credit card numbers, bank account details, etc. We never ask for these, as not a single yen moves hands here.
- Passwords and OTP/2FA codes: Many sites don’t even have a login function, and even if they do, it’s impossible to ask for codes from other services.
- Seed phrases and private keys: Secret words that are at the heart of your cryptocurrency. Anyone who asks you to give them out is 100% likely a thief.
We are the “carriers” of information, not the custodians of your “keys.”
Purpose of cookies and disabling them
When you hear the word “cookie,” it sounds like a cute little candy, but in reality, they’re just small notes stored in your browser.
- Why we use it: To maintain site stability, to remember your “night mode” setting, and to flag articles as read if you’ve already read them.
- How to turn it off: You can easily turn it off in your browser settings (Settings > Privacy > Cookies).
- What happens if you disable it: The site won’t explode lol, but your language settings might reset every time, and some interactive features might not work properly. It’s just a minor inconvenience.
Analytics and Third-Party Services
To improve our site, we sometimes use external analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). This helps us understand where our visitors are coming from (whether from a search or social media).
Data processing by these third-party services is based on the privacy rules set by each provider. We cannot see who is accessing our site through these tools; we simply receive abstract, mosaic-like data that reflects their collective behavior. We do not lock ourselves into using any particular tool, and are always considering switching to tools that are more privacy-conscious.

Links to External Sites
Some of our articles may contain links to external sites, such as official support pages or technical references.
When you click on one of these external sites, you are subject to their rules. Whatever cookies the site uses or information it collects is beyond our control. It’s like “this is our garden, that’s theirs.” Before entering any important information on a linked site, we recommend that you review the site’s privacy policy.
